Jason M. Guidry, Occupational Therapist and owner of Acadian Comprehensive Therapy Services (ACTS), graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1998. Jason has worked in almost every setting within the profession including in-patient acute hospital care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, ergonomic team coordinator, sports core outreach director, and hospital administration. Jason’s passion is treating patients who have injured themselves during sports and work related activities in an outpatient environment. Jason establishes an individualized treatment plan and works hand in hand with all parties involved which may include the patient, physician, case manager and insurance provider.
Rene LeBlanc earned his Master’s in Physical Therapy in 1999 from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and received his board certification in orthopedics (OCS) in 2010. Rene’s expertise is using both a hands-on manual approach as well as an exercised based approach for spine and extremity pain as well as sports and work injuries. He is also a certified ASTYM provider and has been trained in trigger point dry needling. Rene provides clients with a customized examination, treatment plan and home program ensuring the best possible outcome.
Beneth is a native of Loreauville, Louisiana. She received her Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2001 from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, became a Licensed Athletic Trainer in 2003, and a licensed Pilates instructor in 2011. Beneth has extensive background in the treatment of sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, as well as training in Pilates approach to the treatment of the spine.
Heath Schneider began his academic career in 2004 at Auburn University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. Being a personal trainer during his undergraduate years, he was able to build on his communication skills working specifically with one’s physical well-being. This worked well as a transition to Heath’s next level of education, receiving his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2011. He has experience in several settings, but specializes in outpatient treatment, having worked at Champion Sports Medicine in Birmingham and Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in Houston. He holds unique expertise in TRX rehabilitation training along with certification in dry needling. Heath strives to develop a personalized plan of care for all patients, and believes in an interdisciplinary approach to relieve pain, increase strength and range of motion, and ultimately achieve patient specific goals.
Renee is a graduate from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology Exercise Science in 2010. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013 from the University of Saint Augustine in Florida. After going to school in Florida, Renee realized she is a true Cajun at heart and returned to the Acadiana area. Renee has experience with Orthopedic and Neurologic patients along with certification in dry needling. She strives to provide patient care in a friendly and caring environment to decrease patient’s functional limitations and return them to their prior level of function.
Chrissy Gary is our Business Development and Patient Representative expert. She has been with us since March of 2010 and has made tremendous progress. Chrissy focuses on maintaining and developing physician based referrals as well as patient care. She contacts patients on an ongoing basis to “check in” on their progress and to see if they need further assistance from our trained professionals. Linda Hardy joined our team August 2011. She is the office coordinator for our Broussard location.
